Oriane is a highly skilled and experienced health and fitness professional. She is a fully qualified Personal Trainer, Pre and Post Natal Fitness Expert, Nutritional Adviser, Deep Tissue Massage Therapist, Baby Massage Instructor and Sports Coach, based in London.
She was born & raised in Kenya and had a magical childhood full of African adventure. It was here that she first developed her love of the great outdoors, sport and all things active!
At the age of 13 she won a sports scholarship to come to school in England and managed to brave the weather for five years! After a gap year in New Zealand, coaching various sports at an Auckland girls school, she came back to the UK to attend Loughborough University. She graduated with a BSc (Hons)Degree in Media and Communication in 1998. Whilst at Loughborough, she represented the university at Hockey and Cricket, winning the BUSA University Championships in both sports.
Having previously worked in Sports Sponsorship, PR and Marketing and TV Production, Oriane chose to make a career out of one her biggest passions; health and fitness. She completely retrained and completed a demanding and intensive Personal Training Diploma (NVQ Level 3) with market leaders Premier Training International over 8 years ago. She hasn't looked back since!
Oriane has a very down to earth attitude to fitness training and nutrition and has achieved remarkable results with clients across the age and fitness spectrum as well as higher profile celebrity clients. She believes in making fitness fun and combines her blend of motivation, knowledge and sense of humour to help clients achieve their health and fitness goals.
Oriane's media credits span across TV, radio and magazines. She is a regular contributor to Sky News, ITV Lunchtime News and BBC Radio 4's 'Woman's Hour', writes for several national and London based magazines and is also the nutritional adviser on Dame Kelly Holmes' latest fitness DVD. In addition, she was the resident massage therapist for the 'This Morning' ITV show for over two years where clients included Simon Cowell (who said she was 'very good'!!), Goldie Hawn, Gerri Halliwell, Katie Price and Peter Andre amongst many other celebrities.
More recently, Oriane has focused on pre conception and pre and post natal services. She is a Consultant at the reknowned Zita West Clinic in Central London which specialises in fertility support and pre and post natal care. She advises clients on pre-conception, pre and post natal fitness as well as offering detox and pregnancy massage. After the birth of her daughter in 2007, Oriane also created and launched Prambusters, a fantastic outdoor post natal exercise workout for mums and babies. Not only can it help banish that post baby belly, improve your fitness, boost your energy levels, tone muscles and burn fat, but it's also a great way to meet new friends!
Although Oriane is fluent in English, French and Kiswahili, she decided to make London her home in 1999. She lives in South East London with her husband and two children.
